This morning, Lacinio Liquori officially inaugurated its new factory in the industrial area of Crotone, in via Mercalli, marking a significant milestone for the company. Founded by long-time friends Michele Sotero and Davide Milone, the company has chosen to invest in its territory, bringing innovation and quality to the spirits sector and contributing to local economic development.

The plant, a cutting-edge installation covering over 1800 square metres, represents a decisive step towards excellence for Lacinio Liquori. The company, which started from a small 70 square meter laboratory, now has the ability to expand its production and consolidate its presence on the international market, maintaining a strong link with the territory.

The new Lacinio Liquori plant not only represents an evolution in the company’s production capacity, but also creates important employment opportunities. Currently, the structure directly employs 10 people and generates around 30 people, contributing significantly to the local economy.

At the inauguration ceremony, the mayor of Crotone, Vincenzo Voce, and the regional councilor Gianluca Gallo, together with the President of Confindustria Crotone Mario Spanò and the President of Confindustria Giovani Vincenzo Squillacioti, participated in the first ribbon cutting. The event saw the presence of prominent figures from the Crotone business and sporting world and offered guests the opportunity to taste some of the company’s award-winning liqueurs, such as Amaro Milone, recognized as the best amaro in the world in 2022 .

During the ceremony, a particularly evocative moment was offered by the students of the Olimpia dance school. The young dancers staged a re-enactment of the Magna Graecia era with splendid choreographies dressed as vestals, underlining the love for the history and tradition of Crotone.

Lacinio Liquori, with its new structure, is now ready to increase production and continue to promote the quality of its spirits and liqueurs made in Crotone at an international level. The decision of Michele Sotero and Davide Milone to remain in Calabria and invest in their territory reflects a concrete commitment towards excellence and the valorisation of local resources, confirming their role as protagonists in the panorama of the production of high quality liqueurs, carrying forward a tradition that combines innovation, quality and love for the territory.
