Welcome dear Summer, welcome back dear problem of lack of water….
As a City Councilor I find myself once again receiving complaints about the water service in the Papanice district, this is what the people I meet on the street think every day who with discretion, but absolute indignation, complain about the lack of the primary good.
Water, a source of life, becomes essential especially when temperatures rise and when personal needs increase, which falls on people’s shoulders due to a disruption that promptly arrives every time summer approaches.
Punctually, but apparently early this year, it seems that the chase for water has begun, as if by magic the tank that supplies the Papanice neighborhood is partially emptied for no reason. One could and would like to hypothesize that “tourists” have arrived or that the population has increased, but none of this.
So the question everyone is asking is the usual one, “the summer season is just around the corner and we are already without water”, or we can think or hypothesize that along the line of the pipeline some crafty person is bivouacking who, in the face of honest people, takes possession of the property more precious than Earth?
Furthermore, it seems that this disservice is only occurring in the Papanice district, while in the city everything is normal. In the past, at least, there was a healthy habit of notifying the population of an upcoming outage, thus alerting the entire population and especially the most indigent people, but today there seems to be no such need, creating continuous and sacrosanct complaints .
The water shortage is a cause of great inconvenience and we are only at the beginning of the summer season, what will happen when in about a month the emigrants, tourists arrive and the population has doubled?
We must now foresee and provide for the possible inconvenience that could occur shortly.
