Starting from 11.00 on the morning of the upcoming Sunday 16 June, in Crotone, in Via Esaro 34 (San Giorgio locality near the Mosmode metal scrapping company) the demonstration of the symbolic destruction of weapons will take place, promoted by the New Pythagorean School, founded and directed by the scholar Salvatore Mongiardo. In this eighth edition, the presence of personalities and associations of pacifism and non-violence from various parts of Calabria and even from outside the region is expected.
Like every year, some toy weapons will be symbolically destroyed to signify that wars, now so highly technological and extremely powerful, threaten to destroy a large part of our planet, making the parts that manage to survive unliveable. >.
