Celebrations in style for Goldenplastwhich yesterday evening celebrated the 30 years of activity.The headquarters of the company specialized in production of thermoplastic compoundslocated in Power Picena, was transformed for a day into a stage of culture and entertainment. The day began with a conference moderated by the journalist and presenter of Tg1 Barbara Capponifocused on artificial intelligence and its developments and uses in the world of industry. This kicked off a day full of stimuli and content, which ended in an unforgettable evening.
Once the guests took their seats in the room used for dinner, under the careful guidance of the journalist Daniela Gurinithe owner of the house spoke Germano ErcoliWhat did he do the point on Goldenplast’s 30 years of activity. Ercoli thanked all his employees, who will be rewarded with a bonus of 1,000 euros each to celebrate the important goal achieved. In his speech, he emphasized how the company has grown steadilymoving from two to seven production lines and is now investing in a new laboratory to explore other materialswith the purpose of diversify production.
“Let’s say that these 30 years of activity have gone very well – the words of the patron Ercoli -. We have had good success as a company, becoming a point of reference in the field of thermoplastic production for molding shoe soles. We have done our part well and we are still doing it well. In these 30 years we have gradually advanced: we started with two production lines, today we have seven. We’ve added almost one every five years. We are now completing a new laboratory to also carry out tests on other materials, for a cost of almost one million euros. We will begin the production of these new products with investments in fields other than footwear, so as to be able to diversify production and be more comfortable in difficult times like the current one for footwear, which is slowing down a bit. This will allow us to balance daily production.”
In concluding his speech, Ercoli then announced what would be the big surprise of the evening. The three rods positioned on the stage were a clear clue: at 11.30pm the flight would arrive at the Goldenplast headquarters. The announcement was inevitably greeted by a huge roar from the public.
Numerous prominent figures were present at the event, including entrepreneurs and institutional figures. The president of the Marche region, Francesco Acquaroli, praised Goldenplast as a fundamental company for the territory, capable of combining employment, innovation, research, development and competitiveness. The mayor of Potenza Picena, Noemi Tartabinifresh from new election and therefore at his first public appearance of this second mandate, he underlined the importance of the company for the local community, praising Ercoli’s visionary leadership.
Also among the guests several entrepreneurs from the Marche regionwho expressed their full respect for Germano Ercoli to our microphones. Mauro Quacquarini of the winery and confectionery company Quaquarini called him an “undisputed leader”, while the president of the Lube kitchens Luciano Sileoni praised the “solidity of Goldenplast’s corporate reality”. After a dinner in an atmosphere made magical by sound of violinsfollowed by the cutting of the cake and the usual photos taken by our director Guido Picchioit has arrived the most awaited moment of the evening, with the arrival of Il Volo greeted by the ecstatic crowd. Being in the Macerata area, “The Tryo” could only open the dance with the homage to Jimmy Fontana. “The world” is immediately an explosion of notes and great emotions, “it has never stopped for a moment”, just like Goldenplast in these 30 years.
The performance continues with iconic songs from world music such as “My Way” by Frank Sinatra and “Hallelujah”. In between the great classics of Italian music such as “Fly” and the famous romance “Nessun Dorma”, with which Il Volo enchanted the whole world. Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca take those present on the Gulf of Naples for a moment, with “I love you so much”. From this almost ghostly atmosphere we move on to a more festive one “’O sweated ‘nnammurato” and the napkins rigorously swirl in the room at the moment of the chorus. Before leaving the stage and letting the room transform into a disco, there was also space for Il Volo singles such as Great love And Masterpieceperformed by popular demand a second time before leaving the stage.
The title of this last song is able to perfectly summarize the evening: a masterpiece party absolutely worthy of 30 years of Goldenplast’s memorable activity.
