We receive and publish the press release from Lega, Fratelli d’Italia, Forza Italia for Enrico Puricelli, regarding the negotiations on the Samarate runoff

After the vote on 8-9 June, having taken note of the results and the will of the voters who also expressed votes for three lists not admitted to the ballot, we felt it was right to open a discussion with the excluded lists. While a political and programmatic agreement with the 5 Star Movement is certainly unthinkable, it was instead appropriate to have a discussion with the two civic lists, Samarate Insieme and Samarate al Centro, to verify any convergences and to evaluate their possible willingness to support Enrico Puricelli and the center-right of Samarate.

It emerged that the spotlight of the two civics now seems to be pointing only to the left to give birth to an unnatural and non-homogeneous coalition held together only by the single common denominator of being against something or someone rather than a true glue of ideas and programs for Samarate .

The city political secretariats of Lega, FdI and FI and the mayor Enrico Puricelli therefore reiterate what has already been announced in recent weeks, namely that the centre-right coalition will continue compactly without any connection to the challenge of the second round of balloting. Our city is governed “FOR” something and not “against” SOMEONE and above all it is not governed with crowds put together overnight.
