With the approval of the planning documents preparatory to the awarding of the works, the Grillo Council has effectively started the collaborative relationship with Invitalia which will coordinate the tender procedures aimed at the construction of two new nursery schools in Marsala, one in the Amabilina district and the another one in the Bosco district. The responsibility lies with the Special Office for the implementation of the Pnrr – directed by the engineer. Alessandro Putaggio; Rup arch. Annalisa Bavetta – who will follow the awarding phases of the works, the deadline for which is set for next October. The overall investment is almost 3 million euros, financed by the Ministry of Education and Merit – in concert with the Ministry of Economy and Finance – which yesterday published the rankings relating to the tender for the new “Nursery Plan ”, with both schools eligible for funding. The training-educational offer of nursery schools in the Marsala area is therefore expanding, taking into account that the two new kindergartens are added to those of Sappusi, Sant’Anna and Viale Whitaker (the historic “Guido Baccelli”). For Amabilina the intervention involves the construction of a new building with a capacity of 20 places in the 0-12 month range and 40 places in the 13-36 month range. In Bosco, however, the demolition of the existing building is planned (adaptation to the new legislation is considered uneconomical) and the subsequent construction of a new building with a capacity of 20 seats in the baby range and 40 seats in the subsequent range. All in compliance with the minimum equipment also provided for by the “New structural and organizational standards for early childhood services”, as well as respecting the environment according to the European parameters NZEB and DNSH. The two new nursery schools will be included in the Three-Year Program of Public Works (already approved by the Grillo Council), with consequent updating of the Single Programming Document (DUP), currently being approved.
