3 Italians stood on the podium of the opening 145 of the CSI2* in Borgo La Caccia. The victory went to Emanuele Gaudiano followed by Moneta and Martinengo.
It started today at Borgo la Caccia Of Bedizzole The CSI2* of the La Caccia Garda Tour. The big race of the first day was one 1.45 m in time qualifying for Sunday’s Grand Prix and valid for the Longines Ranking Jumping from the prize pool of €28,200.00. 59 participants competed on the course designed by the Italian Course Designer Paolo Rossato of which only 16 pairs finished without errors.
In the Giulio Cesare Arena, today the Mameli Hymn was played with an all-blue podium, which saw the victory of the Carabinieri officer Emanuele Gaudiano riding the 10 year old KWPN Jaja (Zirocco Blue VDL) stopping the clock with a clear brilliant in the time of 67”.75. This combination had already established itself last May at the CSIO5* in Piazza di Siena, achieving two victories, the first in the 145 Telepass (+ information: click here) and the second in the Six Barriers race. Behind him they finished in second position Luca Maria Moneta and El Capone (2009, KWPN, Carthino Z x Vasco) 0 penalties in 68”.12. The First Selected Graduate of the Air Force closes the podium Giulia Martinengo Marquet with Pina Van de Moerhoeve (2015, BWP, Denzel Van’t Meulenhof x Erco Van’t Roosakker) no errors in 69”.05.
In eighth position we find another blue pairing, it was the Agent of the Gold Flames Francesca Ciriesi riding Quincy Juice (2012, Holsteiner, Quidam de Revel x Cristo) who concluded his test with a clear on the course in 73”.90.
