McDonald’s, all ready. Starting in a week – Teramo

GIULIANOVA. Only one week left until the opening of the McDonald’s fast food restaurant in Giulianova. The works for the new refreshment point of the American giant, located on the state road between Colleranesco and Villa Pozzoni, are almost completed. The official opening of the fast food restaurant is scheduled for Friday 21 June and final confirmation from the US company is expected in the next few days. The new McDonald’s will bring approximately 60 new jobs to the area, thanks to a 500 square meter structure on a single floor, which is located within a total area of five thousand square meters. The area will be characterized by large green spaces and proximity parking for customers, as well as lanes dedicated to “McDrive”. Inside the restaurant there will also be a “McCafé” used for breakfasts.
The strategic position of the new refreshment point, a few hundred meters from the Teramo-mare exit and the Mosciano toll booth of the A14, makes the area particularly attractive for new investments. The designer Paolo Bonaduce reveals that McDonald’s will also participate in social initiatives in favor of the homeless and the needy. «McDonald’s will join social initiatives in favor of the most disadvantaged categories», reports Bonaduce, «through the distribution of solidarity meals: the Municipality is also oriented towards participating in initiatives that go in the same direction, with the Castorani institute but also with other realities present in the area”. The technician also underlines that the opening of the new fast food restaurant is destined to give a further boost to the creation of the cycle path that will connect the hamlet of Colleranesco to the sea. “Other new investors have also appeared in recent times”, added Bonaduce, “because the area has become more attractive, so a positive chain reaction is desirable, with a view to also strengthening peripheral areas of Giulianova”.(sg)
