The satisfaction of the Superintendent Giuseppina Rigatuso: «Our mission is to preserve and protect memory. The collection of material on display comes from the Municipalities and many private individuals, the exhibition is curated by the former Superintendent Teresa Spinozzi and includes 75 panels. It contains the whole history of the city’s transformations. Pescara became a province in 1927 and the Coppa Acerbo played an important role in that process. Inside there is also the story of the characters who lived through that heroic era. Even today, there is enthusiasm and participation around this event. The memory is alive, but we must transfer it to the new generations.”
