From June 15th to September 15th 2024 there is a new summer time for the races of the beautiful Faito cable carwhich allow us in just 8 minutesto reach the splendid woods of Monte Faito from the sea of Castellammare di Stabia. Well forecasted 32 trips per day some of which are in the evening.
There Faito cable car colleague the station Castellammare Centrewhich is at sea level, up to the square of altitude 1100 meters on the top of Mount Faito with a very panoramic and breathtaking ride of just 8 minutes among unique and wonderful views. The Castellamare station is located in the EAV station, former circumvesuviana, and can be easily reached from Naples.
The new summer timetable from 15 June to 15 September 2024
Since the day 15 June 2024 until 15 September 2024, summer operating program is in effect. The new timetable includes a first ride at 8.20am and last at 8.10pm. In all they will be 32 daily trips, with departures every 20 minutes during peak times and every 40 minutes in the others.
The new timetables of the Faito cable car are as follows:

The rates in force from March 2024 are as follows:
- one way – €6.50
- round trip – €9.50
- resident return trip – €5.90
- return trip under 18 – €3.60
- monthly subscription – €45.00
- bicycle transport – €1.20

A journey through incredible scenery and wonderful views
The Monte Faito cable car goes up from the sea of Castellammare di Stabia up to extraordinary woods of the Faito mountain offering a journey through an incredible scenario. The lower station of the cable car is located in Castellammare just 9 meters above sea level. while the upper one is on Mount Faito at 1,092 meters above sea level and is part of the municipality of Vico Equense.
The cable car ride barely lasts 8 minutes among incredible views.
