The tour continues in the districts strongly desired by the mayor Franco Ianeselli to collect ideas, suggestions and also constructive criticism directly from citizens and associations in the area. Started last year to complete the tour, Meano and the historic center are missing.
Now it is Gardolo’s turn where the mayor was accompanied in a series of meetings by the president of the district Gianna Frizzera, by the municipal councilor Walter Lenzi, who lives in the suburb that was once a municipality, and by some district councilors. Public Works Councilor Italo Gilmozzi and other councilors supported the mayor on the basis of the appointment.
After a tour of the suburb square in which Ianeselli greeted many citizens and the neighborhood street cleaner, thanking him on behalf of everyone for the excellent work he does, the group moved to Palazzo Crivelli where the Quadrifoglio day center for the elderly is based and the Municipality’s Senior Services Centre.
Second stop is the nearby seniors’ club “Il caminetto”.
After a visit to the gardens under construction in Roncafort, for lunch the delegation of the Municipality – which was joined by the deputy mayor Elisabetta Bozzarelli – moved to the Spini nursery “Bimbinvolo” where they were welcomed with songs by the children present, visibly excited.
