“The numbers have grown and we are very satisfied with this – said Fabrizio Fusini, President of UC Sanremo – All those who arrived at Sanremo must be considered real winners. The new arrival venue, located in Corso Salvo d’Acquisto, a representative place of the city, was much appreciated. Just as we also liked the new starting location in Milan. Finally, I would like to thank all the collaborators, the authorities and the police who allowed the event to take place in complete safety”.

As per the regulations, no individual ranking was drawn up, but the largest groups were awarded:

1) Team Wielerbus (Holland) with 25 athletes

2) Team Sportive Breaks (England) with 18

3) ASD Avis Pavia (Italy) with 17

4) ASD Lakota Bike Ronzoni (Italy) with 14

5) Team Matteucci (Italy) with 14

The route of the non-competitive amateur Milan-Sanremo retraced the 300 kilometers that separate Milan from Sanremo, trying to travel the same roads as the spring Classicissima.
