First provisions for the administration of Arona led by mayor Alberto Gusmeroli: there is talk of beaches, lawn cutting and the public works promised in the electoral campaign.
Gusmeroli’s words
“Cleaning of the Nautica, Lido and Sorriso beaches. Having resolved the issue of lifeguards, the bathrooms for the Sorriso beach arrived today so that the bathing season can open regularly on Saturday 15 June. The grass has been cut throughout Corso Europe and yesterday we set the first budget change which will embrace the first points of the program impacting all areas of the city.
We will immediately include in the public works plan: Gym, car park in via Torino and Piazza del Sapere and literary café.
But we will work to equip the city, in the first 100 days, with a new outdoor basketball/volleyball court, a bowling green and a second table tennis and much more.
We also want to significantly improve the greenery, flowerbeds, areas of the city full of flowers (the flowerbeds of via Vittorio Veneto).
Yesterday I made a video call with the state property for the stopped process for the birth of the fourth beach in the city with the redevelopment of the former Cit Bar”.
