Waiting to move officially on the market – where, obviously, work is underway to build the new team – the Pallacanestro Varese is consolidating its corporate structure that supports it.
In particular, in the last few days they have been recorded “moves” within VSE, Varese Sport and Entertainmentthe company that owns the 45% of club fees red and white and which was created a few months ago with the aim of managing everything that does not concern the sporting activity of Varese Basketball.
The last few weeks have been lively on the VSE front: the company has in fact opened up the possibility of subscribe a part of the initial capital and, according to what has been learned, the “harvesting” would have borne good fruit. In fact, a series of subjects responded “present” by acquiring a slice of VSE and by the end of June these steps will be formalized.
In that moment the names will be known in detail of the subscribers among them Luca Magnoni will certainly be therethe entrepreneur from Varese who is already a shirt sponsor with the brand Prevcom and who (together with Thomas Valentino) brought to light the crest and the name Roosters for the red and white youth sector. Magnoni, who is also an appreciated car driver (he is currently involved in the Italian Gran Turismo Championship in Vallelunga) is therefore the second Italian in the VSE team. The first is Gianpaolo Perego who is also the vice president of Basketball; among those who already have shares there are the red and white general manager Zach Sogolow with his wife Katie Martin and other South American entrepreneurs close to Scola. But it’s possible that there are other well-known faces locally among the group of new subscribers.
As already explained some time ago, VSE has the objective of produce revenues from the activities that revolve around Varese Basketball such as the management of sports hall, that of the areas that will be available at the end of the renovation (restaurant, offices and sky boxes), the merchandising White Red. All with a view to being able to financially support (in the medium term) the sporting side to make the team more competitive.
