Calcio Padova communicates that the agreement has been reached with Matteo Andreoletti, who from today is the new biancoscudato coach. Mister Andreoletti has signed a contract until June 30, 2026 and will be presented on Monday at 11:00 at the Euganeo Stadium.
Matteo Andreoletti was born in Alzano Lombardo (Bergamo) on 30 January 1989. As a footballer, in the role of goalkeeper, he defended the posts of Lecco (Serie C1 2008/2009 and from January 2010), of Pro Sesto (Serie C2 2009/2010), of Pro Patria (Serie C2 from 2010 to 2012) and finally of Verbano (Serie D 2013).
As a coach he began his career as a goalkeeper coach on the Lecco staff in the summer of 2013, the following season he took command of the Berretti of Pro Patria. In the 2015/2016 season he moved on to coach Seregno, finishing in 3rd place in Serie D, confirmed in the following season by eliminating Padova in the 1st round of the national Italian Cup at the Euganeo stadium by 3-4 on penalties. In the 2018/2019 season he coached Inveruno in Serie D for two seasons, winning the playoffs in the final against Ligorna. In the 2020/2021 season he sat on the Sanremese bench for 2 seasons, playing in the playoff final of Group A against Varese. In the 2022/2023 season he was signed by Pro Sesto in the Lega Pro: he led the Biancocelesti to a sensational ride in the championship, remaining in the top positions throughout the championship and being eliminated in the playoffs only in the double match against LR Vicenza. He starts the 2023/2024 season on the Benevento bench.
