The civil protection alert

Isolated showers expected during the afternoon in the North-West, possible but less probable on the western plain; in the evening in relative intensification in the North-West and in the western high plain. Overall, scattered rainfall with values between 1-5 mm and isolated cumulated rainfall up to 10-15 mm.

Disturbed weather is expected in the Region for the entire day of tomorrow 15 June, with acute phase between night and afternoon, mainly in the North-West, Central Pre-Alps and Alpine areas. In the North-West and in the central mountains, between night and morning, the stationarity of the precipitation and the presence of a convective component may produce locally more substantial accumulations, with localized values of 30-60 mm/12h and 50-90 mm/24h, in particular on the western pre-Alpine sectors and to a lesser extent in Valchiavenna and Middle-Lower Valtellina. Moderate southerly or westerly winds, with reinforcements on the western sectors and on the mountains, especially between night and morning”.
