For the occasion, the Circumetnea Railway, responding to an explicit request from the mayor, arranged for the last subway run to be made at 1 am, a method which from next week will become stable on the evenings of every Friday and Saturday.

To make it easier to use the vast pedestrian area of Piazza Federico di Svevia, two zones have been determined: one with a 24-hour ban on cars and another with the closure to traffic limited to the evening and night hours on weekdays without limits. Pedestrian opening hours only on public holidays and Sundays. The municipal administration has also reserved around 400 parking spaces in the surrounding areas and the Amts will guarantee a shuttle bus in the evening hours to connect the R1 car park in via Plebiscito and the neighboring Piazza Vaccarini (79 stalls) with Piazza Federico II di Svevia.
