Today, June 14th at 9.00 pm the external arena of MAGA Museum of Gallarate it will become a stage under the stars for an evening immersed in blues sounds. There Treves Blues Band will celebrate the milestone of fifty years of career of Fabio Treves, icon of Italian blues nicknamed the “Puma of Lambrate”.
The concert is part of ARCHIVIFUTURI, Festival of Contemporary Archivesand the music festival Summer at HIC MAGA MAJNO 2024.
The Treves Blues Band, with Alex “Kid” Gariazzo on guitars and vocals, Massimo Serra on drums and percussion, and Gabriele “Gab D” Dellepiane on bass, will perform a selection of the most significant songs that have marked the harmonica player’s long career.
Since the 1960s, Fabio Treves has been a promoter of blues in Italy, paving the way for a genre that had until then been little known in the Italian musical panorama.
In addition to having been fundamental support for leading figures of Italian song – from Ivan Graziani to Elio e le Storie Tese – the Treves Blues Band has had the honor of opening concerts for international legends such as Deep Purple and Bruce Springsteen.
This long and varied career makes Fabio Treves a true narrator of the evolution of the blues in our country.
Tonight’s event will be an opportunity to reflect on the role of the blues in contemporary culture and how it has been able to adapt and transform, always remaining current.
