One of the most popular events of the summer returns to Gallaratethe great open-air concert of the Coro Divertimento Vocale, in the square.
This year dedicated to Seventies musicbut above all opened by a special, intergenerational moment, with the elderly people of the city’s RSAs and children as protagonists.
The appointment is for Saturday 22 Juneat 9pm, with two hundred seats, but then there is also plenty of room around to watch standing and dancing.
«Without the Coro Divertimento Vocale certain ideas would not be able to flourish» says the culture councilor Claudia Mazzetti. “In these years extraordinary things were born from Carlo Morandi’s energy. This year they offered so many moments, not just the summer concert. And now he gives us this moment: the RSA come out, come to the square and will open the summer concert. But the children will also be with them.”
«The idea was born at Christmas, when the CDV went to the RSAs for a concert” continues Luciano Spairani, president of the CDV. «The next step was this. We have never done something like this: the difficult thing was reconciling people of advanced age but with their desire to spend themselves: pairing them with kids constitutes a connection between generations. It’s true that there are difficulties, but when there are stimuli there is an ability to react.”
Carlo Morandi says that the idea immediately won over the representatives of the city’s Rsa, who immediately expanded it: «Vanna (Barca, Rsa Bellora, ed.), Marco (Buraglioi, Fondazione il Melo) immediately said yes to me, Marusca (Bianco, Camelot) told me “let’s add a little more piece, we have it, it’s the Pinwheel”». So some were added childrenwhich was then also joined by those of Little Heartbeat Choir of Samarate.
All protagonists of the opening moment of the concert: «It will be 7-8 minutes, they will fly by in a flash, as happens with an exam. But this is not an exam, it’s being together” continues Morandi.
«Our philosophy is to give back the guests are the protagonists of the activities, in this case not inside but on a stage where it will be appreciated for what it is able to convey” says Marusca Bianco, director of the Camelot of Gallarate, flanked by president Maurino, as well as by Vanna Barca (director of the Bellora Foundation) and Matteo Buraglio for the Il Melo Foundation. «Carlo and his boys managed to make an aphasic lady sing. Like every year, assistance in managing the concert in the square will also involve the military associations (former policemen, retired carabinieri, Italian Sailors’ Association, Italian Sailors’ Association) to ensure a peaceful evening for everyone.
