IPAB “Aldisio” investigation, prosecutor reiterates request for trial: alternative rites for some defendants

Frost. The line of the prosecutor’s office does not change and the prosecutor Luigi Lo Valvo, who will continue during the next hearing, reiterates the request for indictment for all those involved in the IPAB Aldisio investigation. This morning, before the preliminary hearing judge Francesca Pulvirenti, the public prosecutor conducted a long speech to plead the outcome of the complex investigation. Management irregularities and even corruption are hypothesized, also for the contractual relationships established between the then head of the structure, Don Luigi Tandurella, and the “La Fenice” company, which for a certain period obtained full management of internal services and structures. The request for judgment had already been advanced for the positions of all the defendants. Among others, the engineer Renato Mauro (reference to “La Fenice”), the outgoing city councilor Salvatore Scerra (he ran for the local elections as a candidate for mayor), the director of Fratelli d’Italia Sandra Bennici (he left the assembly civic following the investigation) and Don Tandurella himself. There are defendants who have requested summary judgment and their positions will be evaluated at the next hearing, set for October. Furthermore, the notary Andrea Bartoli, Matteo Vella, Francesca Mendola, Rosario Moscato, Maria Palumbo, Giovanni Tirrito, Anna Rita Tandurella, Benedetto Decaro, Giovanni Decaro, Denny Decaro and the same company “La Fenice” are before the preliminary hearing judge. Next hearings are already scheduled for October and December.
