Is called Kiara Carlomagno and is attending the first year of the institute Acof Olga Fiorini Professional Training of Borsano the winner of the competition for logo of the Local Police of Busto Arsizio. His was chosen among the 27 who participated in the initiative launched by commander Stefano Lanna.
«The proposal for the competition of ideas arises from the need to create a logo capable of identifying and representing in an incisive and authentic manner the Local Police Force of Busto Arsizio as an institution of the City, identifying its role, Authority, values and the relationship with the territory itself” – said Lanna who, together with a commission composed of the deputy commander Cristina Fossatiby the coordination manager Erika Ottoby the head of the press office of Palazzo Gilardoni Emanuela Bonecchi and the professor Giuseppe Pacciarotti chose the winning logo.
The description of the logo is provided by Kiara herself, together with her tutor Francesca Marchesi: «The external shape of the logo recalls the shield as a graphic element that has always been associated with the concept of protection and defense. The inside of the logo highlights the territorial identification, combined with the graphic one, with a representation of the outline of our city identified typographically through the image of the heraldic coat of arms of the Municipality of Busto Arsizio. Furthermore, the wording Local Police which identifies the logo’s affiliation is supported by a blue band so as to make it immediate and effective to read. The chosen font and the angle of the writing “Local Police – City of Busto Arsizio” highlight the dynamism of the Local Police and its evolution over time. Finally, as regards the choice of colours, green was used to represent the Lombardy Region and blue which identifies the color of the Local Police uniform, with the aim of giving greater emphasis to the sense of belonging to the Local Police Corps.
Special mention for the logos of Davide Belloni of ACOF Fiorini, Fiorillo Mattia of ACOF Fiorini, Guffanti Giorgia of Liceo Artistico Candiani and Lini Nicolas, also of Artistico Candiani.
The mayor also took part in the awards ceremony Emanuele Antonelli and the councilor for Security and Mobility Salvatore Loschiavo.
