PARTICIPATE THE CLIMATE it’s the new appointment of SIC – Sociolab’s self-training space to be held Thursday 4 July 2024 (from 9.30 to 12.30) at Villa BardiniCosta San Giorgio 2, a Firenze.
The climate crisis is confronting us with choices that require collective responses. The major changes needed cannot be based only on the pro-activism of individual people, but must activate collective paths attentive to social justice, sustainability and the redistribution of resources. Sociolab and Società Toscana Orticultura are committed to ensuring that this process inevitably involves the promotion of public debate and involvement in decision-making processes.
What role does community participation have in the challenges of sustainability and climate change?
How can we ensure that the transitions underway do not represent a new opportunity for the growth of inequalities?
We will explore these and other questions with experts in greenery and landscape, food policies and participation on environmental issues and with all the people who want to contribute to a moment of collective intelligence on these issues.
