“Putting passion in everything you do” is the motto of Harley-Davidson, the American myth, the dream, freedom. With 120 years of history made of passion, evolution and revolution, for the first time the iconic Harley-Davidson brand will make its triumphal entry into Locride.
The roars of the legendary American custom bikes will resonate along the streets, attracting enthusiasts from all over Italy ready to show off their powerful cars. This extraordinary event is made possible thanks to the AsproMunti Free Chapter HOG Association, chaired by Antonio Tallarida and directed by Ninni Bruzzese, who organizes the “Therun – Free Run 2024” event.
From 28 to 30 June, the Parco dei Principi hotel in Roccella Jonica will host around 350 motorcyclists from the international Free Chapter movement, a gathering that will involve 38 groups from all over Italy.
What are Free Chapters and HOGs?
The Free Chapters are groups of Harley-Davidson passionate motorcyclists who operate independently, without directly affiliating with the official clubs. This allows them greater freedom in organizing events and gatherings, while still keeping the community spirit and passion for motorcycles alive.
The HOG (Harley Owners Group) are the official clubs recognized by Harley-Davidson. Founded in 1983, HOG was created to offer Harley-Davidson owners an opportunity to connect, share experiences and participate in exclusive events. With over one million members worldwide, it is one of the largest motorcycle clubs in existence.

Founded in 1903 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Harley-Davidson immediately became an icon of motorcycling and American culture. Harley-Davidson motorcycles are known for their unique design, durability and distinctive engine noise.
