Rho (Milan), 14 June 2024 – Irreverent, biting, dazed and athletic, the Belgian duo Okidok after the triumph at the Festival du Cirque de Demain in Paris he arrives at the De Silva civic theater in Rho with the show, “Slips inside”. The appointment is Saturday 15 June at 9.30pm as part of the circus and street theater festival “Circumferences” which has been bringing the magic of traveling shows to the city for ten years.
On the show Slips inside two clowns, literally stripped naked, or rather wearing only funny long johns, challenge each other in a hilarious contest of incorrect somersaults and surreal balancing act, proposing a type of original comedy that without the use of words manages to make adults laugh and children of every nation thanks to an inexhaustible succession of sketches as unlikely as they are hilarious, in which the unusual and the unexpected are at home.
The duo composed of Xavier Bouvier and Benoit Devos, gets everyone to agree and is considered among the most interesting exponents of the new international clowning. Dancers, comedians, mimes, magicians, tightrope walkers, noisemakers, instrumentalists, stunt performers and more, Okidok have been presenting successfully received shows all over the world for more than 25 years. Slips inside is a show that has been on the stages of international comedy for years, applauded in Antwerp as in Avignon, in London as in Melbourne. It closed the prestigious Grock Festival in Imperia and was the show of the carnival week at the Teatro Vittoria in Rome.
