Green light from the regional council for the approval of the 2024-2025 school calendar for state and private schools, establishing the start and end dates of teaching activities as follows: Monday 16 September 2024 starting date of lessons for all schools of all levels.

Saturday 7 June 2025 date of end of lessons in primary, lower and upper secondary schools; Monday 30 June 2025 date of end of educational activity in nursery school.

In particular, the suspension of lessons is established for all school levels: for holidays recognized by current state legislation, such as every Sunday, 1 November 2024, feast of all saints, 8 December 2024, Immaculate Conception, 25 December 2024 Christmas, December 26, 2024, Boxing Day, January 1, 2025, New Year; January 6, 2025, Epiphany; 20 April 2025 (Sunday), Easter, 21 April 2025, Easter Monday; April 25, 2025, Liberation Day; 1 May 2025, Labor Day, 2 June 2025, Republic Day; Feast of the Patron Saint.

Furthermore, it is established the suspension of lessons also for the following days identified by the Region with this act, such as 2 November 2024, commemoration of the deceased, 3 November 2024, suspension of teaching activities; from 23 December 2024 to 6 January 2025 inclusive, for the Christmas holidays; from 17 April 2025 to 22 April 2025 inclusive, for the Easter holidays; and on 26 April 2025, suspension of teaching activities.

Finally, it settles down that, for the 2024/2025 school year, the days of educational activities in the Primary School and in the 1st and 2nd grade Secondary Schools are: from Monday to Saturday 204 (203 including the feast of the Patron Saint), from Monday to Friday 171 (170 including the feast of the Patron Saint), in the nursery school: from Monday to Saturday 223 (222 including the feast of the Patron Saint), from Monday to Friday 187 (186 including the feast of the Patron Saint).
