Sassari, the stages of the new Mascia administration

The new stages of the Mascia administration.

After electoral victory, it is time to form the new council for Giuseppe Mascia, who will be officially proclaimed mayor of Sassari next Monday 17th at 5pm in the Council Room of Palazzo Ducale. The announcement will be made by the chairman of the Central Election Commission, Matteo Girolametti.

There formation of the Council is not simple and it will probably not be immediate, with numerous pieces to fit together, avoiding breaking the fragile peace found, first in the Democratic Party and then within the coalition. It has been established that the council must have a 40% of female or male representation. Only subsequently will the delegations be assigned, initially nine, redesigned compared to the previous administration, with the possibility of reach 10 places.

The Democratic Party, made up of 10 city councillors, will certainly have a leading role. At least three departments are foreseen: one for each Fabio Pinna, Mascia’s classmate; another for Mario Pingerna and one for the left of the party represented by the Berlinguer club, with the secretary Stefano Manai Ferretti as a likely candidate.

The most voted councilors, Vannina Masia And Nicoletta Puggionicould receive important positions, unless the Democratic Party chooses to occupy the presidency of the City Council.
