A few weeks after his confirmation as artistic director and host of Sanremo 2025, Carlo Conti revealed some interesting previews about the next edition.
In fact, he released ainterview in which he begins by explaining how he metabolised his return to the Festival after its editions from 2015 to 2017. He then anticipated that the first songs for the singing competition have already arrived and denied the participation of his friends Giorgio Panariello And Leonardo Pieraccioni.
As regards the running of the race, Conti specified that there will only be a few small changes to the regulations. The first significant news is that we return to the past as Big And New Proposals they will no longer compete together and there are no eliminations:
“I worked on my editions, also seeing the work done subsequently. There will be a division between the new proposals and the Bigs. The new proposals will not increase the number of Bigs, they will have their race, there will be a winner and the Bigs will run their race”.
At the same time, the number of songs will decrease and above all the episodes should end by 1 am at the latest. The Tuscan presenter then underlined how the songs will be at the center of everything and his biggest dream would be to open Sanremo 2025 with Vasco Rossi who sings his Albachiara. Finally, the latest news concerns the reintroduction of the Dopofestival and to close Conti stated that it is not certain there will be guests.
