The Ivelise Theater opens its doors to the second edition of Vesper’s VarieTease, with the new show “The carousel of beauties”. This glittering burlesque show, created by the famous performer Vesper Julie, will be held on Saturday 15 June 2024 at 9pm and Sunday 16 June 2024 at 7.30pm. The event celebrates the art of burlesque in an innovative and captivating format, paying homage to the refined talent of Vesper Julie.

“The Carousel of Beauties” is not just a show, but the epilogue of the courses of the prestigious Académie of Burlesque & Variety. As per tradition, the protagonists of the evening will be the students, ready to perform under the expert guidance of Vesper Julie and the Director of the Ivelise Theatre, Brenda Monticone Martini. The stage, transformed into a bright amusement park, will offer a show made up of spins, fluttering feathers and floating veils to the rhythm of captivating music.
The event promises to inaugurate the Roman summer with a touch of pure beauty, sensuality and irony. Spectators will be invited to ride the “carousel” and enjoy a vibrant and lively show. Vesper Julie: a multifaceted talent between cinema and burlesque
Giulia di Quilio, aka Vesper Julie, has a rich and varied career. Actress, model and burlesque performer, Vesper Julie began her training in the theater world, before moving to cinema and television. Her encounter with burlesque in 2010 marked a decisive turning point: her participation in the Sky Uno talent show, Lady Burlesque, took her to the final and opened the doors to a brilliant international career.
From the prestigious Australian Burlesque Festival to the stages of the Salone Margherita in Rome, considered the temple of variety, Vesper Julie has enchanted audiences around the world with her performances. Named among the best Italian performers by GQ Magazine in 2015, her presence is requested for important corporate events such as those organized by Yoox, Mazda and Bacardi. Recently, Vesper Julie was seen in the Oscar-winning film “La Grande Bellezza” by Paolo Sorrentino, once again demonstrating her versatility as an artist.
Since 2023, Vesper Julie has directed the Acadèmie of Burlesque and Variety of the Ivelise Theatre, continuing to promote the art of burlesque through high-level courses and shows.
