Coldiretti Cuneo: “Many priorities, ready for the season of mobilizations” – The Guide

“We are ready for a new season of mobilizations to support the work of agricultural businesses, protect crops and livestock from wildlife, guarantee income and competitiveness to companies and defend our priceless agri-food heritage”. This is what the president of Coldiretti Cuneo, Enrico Nada, highlighted at the conclusion of the Coldiretti provincial assembly in Fossano which took stock of the activities carried out in the first six months of 2024 and outlined the path for the next mobilizations in a particularly delicate historical moment.
During the very well attended assembly, the Coldiretti provincial council led by president Nada spoke with the section presidents, called to approve the budget and the programmatic lines for this year.
“A few days before the European, regional and local electoral appointment, we reiterated the priorities of the agricultural world, which emerged from months of intense dialogue in the area and from the work of the Coldiretti product consultants, and our desire to immediately dialogue with the new elected representatives,” says Nada.
Coldiretti Cuneo’s objective is to dictate the political agenda at a crucial moment, with the new settlements that will take place at a regional and administrative level. “Our hope – explains the director of Coldiretti Cuneo, Fabiano Porcu – is that a season of renewed attention will open for agricultural problems, from wildlife to African Swine Fever, from irrigation management to rural development, from production chains to administrative simplification. For our part, we will monitor carefully so that in the coming months the electoral promises materialize in local and regional political actions, projected over time”.
