Viterbo – We receive and publish – My last speech on the nursery school issue ended on a positive note, in fact I invited the mayor to change her attitude for the good of the city and the people of Viterbo.
From the statements I read from the first citizen: “Kindergartens, a topic that I notoriously don’t give a shit about”, even if pronounced in a private context,
they make his point of view unequivocally understood regarding such an important and heartfelt topic for the families of Viterbo.
I can imagine with what state of mind the parents of the primary school pupils of Ellera, who will have to be transferred for the PNRR works, will face the meeting with the mayor.
I was contacted by some parents to have an appointment, in which we could exchange points of view and concrete proposals.
To date there are two indications: Viale Trento, in environments not suitable for hosting an elementary school or the former Viterbo Fair five kilometers from the city, with all the logistical difficulties.
Both structures need major adaptations to accommodate young schoolchildren.
Neither building finds favor with families.
I hope with all my heart that an optimal solution can be found that can allow a quiet and regular teaching activity for primary school students.
