Installation day for Dr. Alberto Sgambati, appointed new Chief Prosecutor following the retirement of Dr. Michele Renzo. Until Dr. Sgambati’s appointment, Dr. Stefano Gallo assumed the regency.

The CSM commission, with three votes each, had reduced the shortlist to Sgambati and Larongauntil the final choice made by the plenum at the end of May.
