«The picture reconstructed by the Bank of Italy – attack the Calabrian dems – is merciless. Therefore the centre-right regional government and its relative majority cannot refuse to assume their responsibilities and have the duty to deal with reality and the truth. We are used to the behavior of Occhiuto, who describes Calabria as the land of toys. But it is irresponsible to play the harp and incite dancing when the economic crisis advances and creates emigration and depopulation, conditions on which the Meloni government leverages to cut services and sponsor differentiated autonomy, which is terrible for the South.”
