There is time, until midday on 20 June 2024, to participate in the competition to recruit young doctors for the peripheral and island hospitals of Tuscany, online from 22 May on the Estar website, the Region’s technical support body. Eighteen places in total distributed across the three Tuscan healthcare companies, with economic incentives, targeted professionalization and career paths for those who choose to work outside the large urban centres. A single call at national level, an experiment to provide an answer to the problem of deficient and hitherto less attractive areas.
In the ASL Sud Est, a total of seven positions, an internal medicine doctor is being sought for the Casentino establishment of the “Ospedali reunited dell’Aretino”, a nephrologist and an orthopedist to be assigned to the Nottola hospital in Montepulciano, a doctor for the organization of health services in the Colline dell’Albegna area and another for the district area of Casentino, Valtiberina, Val di Chiana Arezzo, a psychiatrist for the mental health department of the Amiata Grossetana area and Colline Metallifere, a radiologist for the Massa Marittima establishment of the single hospital in Grosseto.
In the ASL Toscana Centro the notice concerns two positions: an emergency medicine doctor for the Pescia hospital in the province of Pistoia and an orthopedist for the Borgo San Lorenzo hospital in Mugello.
Nine doctors are being sought for the territories of the ASL Toscana Nord Ovest. Four concern the Portoferraio hospital on the island of Elba: a geriatrician, a hygienist and epidemiologist, a pediatrician, a radiologist. The other five positions up for tender are a cardiologist for the Cecina hospital, a geriatrician for the Barga hospital, a geriatrician for the Volterra hospital, a nephrologist for the Piombino hospital and a radiologist for the hospital of Pontremoli.
