Among the activities in Caivano, Uisp Campania makes its presence felt with aggregative events for younger people who, thanks to sport, can model those values that allow girls and boys to rediscover the pleasure of being together.
In fact, social sport finds fertile ground in Caivano with the start of the free summer camp, aimed at young people aged 6 to 15, which will last until 26 July, with activities from Monday to Friday. Guaranteed fun with football, basketball, climbing, sailing, art and cooking, thus satisfying any passion. Within this context, the highly anticipated event is then inserted “Caivano Street Basket”a 3-on-3 basketball tournament aimed at participants ages 11 to 14, coming June 15 from 9 a.m.
The appointment is at “Rainbow” camp, where in the past decay and abandonment reigned, while now there is a recovered space to host groups of children and teenagers who will spend a day full of sport and fun. The initiative is in line with the activities of the “La Bellezza Necessaria” project, promoted by Uisp Campania and financed by Fondazione Con Il Sud as part of the “Sport – the important thing is to participate” tender, with the aim to regenerate abandoned spaces and places in the area through social sport.
