During yesterday’s meeting, the Busto Arsizio municipal council took some important decisions regarding initiatives of particular social and institutional interest. New projects linked to the Pnrr and regeneration have come to fruition such as the one for the district heating of Neutalia, where the council had to take note, the first part of the Fili Urbani project and the redevelopment of the former slaughterhouse in via Pepe.

STRATEGIC PROJECTS
The administrative process continues for the implementation of some important projects for the future of the city. The council has taken note of the final project “Development of the district heating systems of Busto Arsizio and Legnano/Castellanza with connection to the Neutalia waste-to-energy plant” approved by the Board of Directors of the Company AMGA Legnano SpA, as Leader of the ATI AMGA-AGESP-Neutalia.
The total cost of the work is €20,071,477.64 – of which €15,606,547.00 financed by MASE. The intervention does not entail burdens on the municipal budget given that the related financing was granted to the ATI and that the amounts not included in the financing will be borne by the companies.

The definitive-executive project for the realization of the intervention for the recovery of the building heritage and the energy efficiency of the building has also been approved “Pre-Boost – Ex-dispensary” as part of the Filiurbani – Busto Breathe Generations project, involving a total expenditure of €1,420,042.46.

Finally, the green light is given to the definitive/executive project of the intervention refunctionalization of the properties included in the former slaughterhouse area, whose economic expenditure framework amounts to €9,200,000.00.

If the project receives approval from the Ministry, the actions will be temporarily launched in the private space located in via Marconi 10 used by Centro Davide Onlus and Acof, entities that are part of the project network.
