Eni Rewind appeals to the Regional Administrative Court of Calabria against the high sums requested by the Province of Crotone for the testing of the works of the Phase 1 operational reclamation plan. The multinational disputes the payment of 3% of the total amount of the interventions, equivalent to 380 thousand euro, considered disproportionate compared to the value of the works completed in 2021, estimated at 12.8 million euros.

The Province of Crotone has made the payment of a sum equal to 3% of the total cost of the interventions carried out in the Crotone-Cassano-Cerchiara Site of National Interest, amounting to 380 thousand euros out of a total of 12.8 million euros spent in 2021. Eni Rewind, managed by Paolo Grossi, challenged this decision at the Regional Administrative Court of Calabria, contesting the proportionality of the tariffs imposed by the Province.

At the same time, the company asked the Regional Agency for the protection of the environment in Calabria to provide a technical report on the contract concluded and urged the Palazzo in via Mario Nicoletta, led by president Sergio Ferrari, to issue the certification of correct execution and completion of the project.
