Two white nights of taste with the sound of the waves crashing in the background. Arrives at Fiumicino “The way of taste”, an appointment that will liven up the town on the Roman coast on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June, from 6pm to midnight. The initiative, promoted by the “Association of traders of via della Torre Clementina and the historic center”, is organized by RistorAgency and sponsored by the Region and the Municipality. The mayor will also be present at the ribbon cutting Mario Baccini: “We expect a big turnout,” he says.
The event was created to kick off the summer season, the most important for all the commercial businesses in the area. The restaurants of the street will be involved, which will become a sort of tasting journey in stages with tastings of the premises. Paired with glasses of wine and beers strictly from Lazio.
Among the businesses that will remain open are Fish Take Away, Le Mokò, Bastianelli dal 1929, Salotto Valadier, Un posto al sole and then again Ge.pa.gi, La Marina, Youth Caffè, the Roman pizzeria Clementina, Golden Italy, Da Giorgio, Mec Fish, Damiano Sushi y tacos, Tiber 41, Casa Gusto Molo 302, the gourmet Osteria dell’Orologio, L’incannucciata, Al Molo, Follis, Cielo and many others. Among the wineries, here are Tenuta Santa Lucia, Castel De Paolis, Casale del Giglio, Marco Carpineti, Tellenae. Among the various, also the Mostoitaliano agricultural brewery. Finally, there is also space for art with 27 artists’ gazebos, and for musical entertainment, with pop and rock performances in four different places along the route.
The online entrance ticket (through the vivaticket platform) costs 16.50 euros and includes a tasting kit with a glass, a glass holder and 10 tokens for tastings (wine and food).
