MotoGP, Ktm squadron: Bastianini and Vinales as well as Acosta and Binder
Bastianini and Viñales will race with Team Tech 3 therefore and will be equipped with the factory KTM RC16 in 2025 as part of a multi-year deal and will form a Red Bull orange quartet with stars Brad Binder and Pedro Acosta in the adjacent Red Bull KTM Factory Racing setup.
Enea Bastianini returns home since he made his motorcycle debut ten years ago with a KTM RC4, after also becoming a race winner in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. He has achieved six victories and more than 30 podiums in both Moto3 and Moto2 through a seven-season formative phase culminating in winning the 2020 Moto2 World Championship. The Italian moved up to MotoGP in 2021 at the age of 23 and achieved six wins and 12 podiums over the course of his three-and-a-half years in the class queen with Ducati.
Already a race winner in 2024 and the first rider in the MotoGP era to triumph with three different manufacturers, Maverick Viñales He brings exceptional experience and talent to the team. The number 12 was also KTM’s second Moto3 world champion in 2013. Four seasons in Moto3 and Moto2 resulted in four consecutive top-three finishes in the championship. He entered the premier class in 2015 and achieved the first of his 10 MotoGP victories the following season. Viñales has claimed 35 podiums in the premier class and captured two championship bronze medals in his decade-long tenure. He has won at least one Grand Prix in seven of these ten years in MotoGP™.
