The electoral campaign of Maurizio Gambini and “Città concrete” starts from a slogan: “Let’s make history”. After being the most voted of the mayoral candidates, but missing victory in the first round by two points, Gambini chose the Raffaello College to start the electoral meetings in view of the run-off with Federico Scaramucci.
“We have to start again, but I like the electoral campaign – he said –. The strategy of our opponents, with over 200 candidates, should have led to a direct victory, but in the first round we won, thanks to a sober and concrete line If you look at the preferences, you will understand that the citizens have already chosen the next Administration: a new team, made up of people who deeply believe in the project started in recent years with the aim of projecting the city into the future”.
Then a mention of the status of provincial capital, certified in January: “They say everything is the same, but it isn’t. If we are here it is only because of the history of recent years, which has led us to be the capital, otherwise we would have already won They also say that I am a single man in charge, but I don’t understand that: I work with a united and compact team that has been able to give stability to the government of the city. My door is always open and I go to the people to stop speaking badly about Urbino: I willingly took insults from everyone because I know how much its citizens are worth, our administration does not divide, it has always united.”
Finally, on the choice not to attempt an alliance with Francesca Crespini: “We already have a clear and strong group. The other coalition is not interested in the city, there is only a desire to regain power held for 70 years.
