Castellammare di Stabia, they dismantled stolen cars: two men arrested

They were caught red-handed and arrested on the agricultural outskirts of Castellammare di Stabiaintent on dismantling parts of cars that were found to be stolen.

Two men, one 49 year old and a 48 year oldboth from Castellammare di Stabia and with police records, were arrested for money laundering and resistance to public officials. The agents of the Castellammare di Stabia police station had noticed the two suspects on board two cars in via Lattaro.

One of them parked a vehicle inside the condominium area, the driver of the other car entered a basement room. Shortly afterwards, the policemen heard a loud flex noise coming from the room in question and, for this reason, they entered and surprised the two men who, upon seeing them, attempted to flee but, not without difficulty, were blocked.

Furthermore, since there was good reason to believe that there could be further suspicious elements, the officers carried out a more thorough check of the structure, discovering that it was a real “workshop”, where they found numerous car parts of different makes and models also finding that the vehicle with which one of them had been seen entering had already been dismantled and was found to be stolen.

Again, the officers found 3 jammer (frequency jammers), a sistema DVR (video surveillance system) with two monitors that reproduced the images recorded by three cameras that framed the driveway inside the condominium and a GPS detector. From here the arrests began for the two forty-year-olds.
