Today at 12 in the Red Hall of the Municipality, official proclamation of Andrea Biancani as mayor of Pesaro. He has 10 days left to convene the city council and another 10 days to officially install it. It can be deduced that Biancani has little more than a week to appoint his council and resolve the risk which also includes compensatory positions in the municipal companies.

No unpacking

Rumors assure that the unpacking model of heavy departments such as Public Works, Urban Planning and Environment adopted by Ricci will not be replicated. However, it is very likely that Biancani, like his predecessor, will take on some delegations. For Ricci it was Urban Planning and Marketing of the city, for the new mayor it could instead be Personnel. Delegation in line with him and also consistent with the priorities he indicated the day after he took office: reorganization of the municipal machinery and Capital of Culture. For Biancani, the proper functioning of offices is a fundamental element of governing. If the holders of the previous council will in all likelihood also be the councilors of tomorrow, the same fate could concern the delegations. A whirlwind of assignments remains very unlikely. It is difficult to justify a reduction in the role of Mila Della Dora (among the delegations, the heavy one for Urban Planning): she is the most voted woman (766), her list is placed in fourth place among those of the coalition, preceded by Enzo’s Città in Comune Belloni who however takes home a few fewer votes (760). And as far as Belloni is concerned, the evaluation of the political weight with which he came out of the vote will be central. He himself had set himself the target of 4,000 preferences but did not exceed 2,508. However, it remains difficult to think that Biancani will do without the representative of the third list, perhaps finding a different declination of Operation. The educational services confirmed for Camilla Murgia (second only to Della Dora with 13 votes) do not seem to encounter obstacles exactly like the budget still entrusted to Andrea Nobili who with 729 votes has secured her presence in the council. Riccardo Pozzi, first place on Biancani’s list, with his exploits (802 votes) will hold onto Public Works. Francesca Frenquellucci’s strength does not lie in her votes (141), but certainly her role as a trailblazer in the wide field, and her 4-year commitment alongside Ricci, ensure her a department which could rightly be the one she was already entrusted with: the Commerce. Same reasoning for Maria Rosa Conti, an essential component of the coalition beyond her 180 votes.

The outsider

The untouchable is Daniele Vimini, armored by pre-electoral agreements, driven by the great success of preferences (968, which upon closer inspection are 45 votes more than what the center-left of Pesaro guaranteed to the national secretary of the Democratic Party Elly Schlein) will be the the councilor for Culture and Tourism and also the deputy mayor Seven safe and to reach 9 councilors the names in question are Marco Perugini who with 567 votes can choose, Sara Mengucci (president of the city council?) and Luca Pandolfi. If the mayor who takes office today wanted to put his own name on it, it would be the very young Riccardo Bernardi (whom Perugini also likes a lot).
