Humanitarian mission for Air Campania. The initiative will allow 100 war orphaned Ukrainian children from the city of Ivano-Frankivs’kin the south-west of Ukraine, to participate in a summer camp that will take place in Palinuro until June 24th.

This morning, two buses from the fleet left the Torrette di Mercogliano depot. The delegation, led by administrator Anthony Acconcia, will reach Luzhanka Border (on the border with Ukraine) where it will be welcomed by Don Andrii Budziak, director of Caritas in the city of Nadvirna, who has been managing a structure offering refuge to war refugees for two years . From there, the mission will depart for Palinuro, with arrival scheduled for June 14th. The aim is to offer them a period of leisure and support their emotional and social development.

For Air Campania it is the second humanitarian mission to support the victims of the conflict, after the one in March 2022. Acconcia said he was «honored to be able to contribute, once again, to such an important cause. Our mission is not only to transport people, but also to help our communities and support those in difficulty. This summer camp will offer children the opportunity to rediscover serenity and hope for the future.”
