The 2024/2025 season is taking shape: this is how the hunting calendar of Emilia Romagna is structured.
The anticipations were clear: in 2024/2025 the hunting calendar of Emilia Romagna (hopefully not also its application) will follow that of the previous season with a couple of changes, the postponement of the closing of the teal and woodcock hunt (30th instead of 20th January) and the closing time of the wild boar selection hunt, midnight.
The pre-opening will only concern the hunting of corvids and wood pigeons; it remains outside the list of huntable species the turtle dovebetween those approved so far included only in the Marche calendar.
The dates by species
- Lark: 2 October – 30 December 2024
- Teal, snipe, gadwall, fieldfare, pintail, wigeon, coot, moorhen, mallard, garganey, shoveler, pochard, water rail, fox: 15 September 2024 – 30 January 2025
- Woodcock: 2 October 2024 – 30 January 2025
- Boar: a quarter between October 2, 2024 and January 30, 2025
- Wood pigeon, hooded crow, magpie, jay: 1 September 2024 – 15 January 2025
- Wild rabbit: 15 September – 1 December 2024
- Pheasant: 15 September – 1 December 2024 (in Afv 30 January 2025)
- Hare, little hare (cottontail): 15 September – 1 December 2024 (in Afv 30 December 2025)
- Blackbird: 15 September – 30 December 2024
- Moretta: 2 November 2024 – 30 January 2025
- Red partridge, quail, gray partridge: 15 September – 30 November 2024
- Song thrush, redwing: 15 September 2024 – 20 January 2025
