CIVITAVECCHIA – The Civitavecchia post office in the center of via Giordano Bruno will remain closed for works until the 27th of this month.
There are several users who have found the office doors closed. But, apparently, the office will remain closed – as the company explains – for an intervention to replace the air conditioning system with the installation of latest generation devices with low impact on the environment.
The office will remain closed until the 27th. To limit inconvenience, the staff have been temporarily transferred to the Largo Monsignor D’Ardia office which will also be open in the afternoon until the central post office reopens.
THE COMPANY’S NOTE – Poste Italiane communicates that the Civitavecchia Centro post office, in via Giordano Bruno, 11, has been included in an extraordinary maintenance plan which includes a series of structural interventions aimed at improving the levels of reception and safety of working environments.
Among the works is the installation of a new high-tech air conditioning system serving the post office in via G. Bruno, in fact, in addition to the optimization of the microclimate inside the office in summer and winter, both in the areas open to public and in rooms used exclusively by staff, will allow a significant reduction in energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. The intervention is in line with the improvement of comfort but also with company policies aimed at sustainability and the implementation of actions aimed at environmental protection and energy saving and at guaranteeing efficient and sustainable solutions for post offices and more generally for everyone company headquarters.
Poste Italiane, to guarantee the continuity of postal and financial services and the delivery of correspondence not delivered due to the absence of the recipient, has set up, for the entire duration of the works, the extension of the opening hours of the Largo Monsignor Giacomo D’Ardia office which will be available from Monday to Friday from 08.20 to 19.05, on Saturdays until 12.35.
The Postamat ATM is also available to citizens, open seven days a week and operating 24 hours a day, for cash withdrawals and for all permitted operations.
