TRENT. There keyword And sharing. It is approaching Ganzega dei Ciusi and Gobjan appetizer of the 42nd edition of Christmas Eve celebrationsthe event that celebrates the patron saint of Trento.
The appointment is scheduled from 6.30pm Saturday 15 Junefor the first time, in Piazza Duomo. This edition too, part of the proceeds will be donated to a local association active in social matters. The event is organized with the support of the Dao Group, Birra Forst and Cantine Lavis.
This year the traditional dinner which acts as a link between the two protagonist factions of the traditional Vigil challenge (now in its fifth edition and curated by Pro Loco Historic Center of Trento) is organized for the first time entirely in Piazza Duomo. Which will therefore be the open-air stage for a moment of conviviality whose relevance is demonstrated by the numbers: Over 700 participants are expectedwhich will find a place in the mega-tables (300 meters overall length).
Instead they are around 180 volunteers to prepare and serve a dinner which, among typical dishes and period costumes, allows you to dive into Middle Ages, helping to recreate that joyful and carefree atmosphere in a wonderful historical-cultural context such as the symbolic square of the city. The Ganzega, which in dialect means celebration of the end of work after a particularly busy period, is an event that combines rituality and a very strong sense of belonging to the community.
The reference to tradition is also found in the recipes (obtained from ancient manuscripts) and in the products (which come from Trentino livestock and crops): specifically for Ganzega they are used Agri90 flourscooked by the tireless Polentèr (assisted by Pro Loco of Storo) and the Pantrentino of theBakers Association of the Province of Trentohistorical partner of the Feste Vigiliane.
And from 10.30pm, in via Verdi, here is the concert by Tree Geesamong the most accredited and faithful tribute bands of the legendary ones Bee Gees in the world, with over 25 years of live performances in Italy and around the world, offering an extraordinary repertoire performed with rigor and stylistic perfection as well as with lightness and irony. The event is organized in collaboration with Radio Italia of the 60s.
Tickets for the Ganzega dei Ciusi e dei Gobj can be purchased at the Pro Loco Historic Center of Trento office in via Bronzetti 21 (From Monday to Friday 08.30 – 12.30 / 14.30 – 16.30 until Friday 14), the Forsterbrau Trento restaurant in Via Paolo Oss-Mazzurana, 38 and the Infopoint in Piazza Duomo.
The Christmas Eve celebrations are organized by Santa Chiara cultural services centre on behalf of Municipality of Trento and from Pro Loco Historic Center of Trento and with the support of Province of Trento.
