The Basilicata Pro Loco Bodywhich has always been attentive to the sustainability and well-being of the Lucanian community, has signed today a memorandum of understanding for the adoption of Gretacar, the solution from the Lucanian company Ecosud for the traveling environmental monitoringwhich last October was awarded the prestigious ASviS “Giusta Transition” 2023 award.
The signing of the agreement took place in Barile (Pz) at the Pro Loco Barile regional headquarters of the Ente Pro Loco Basilicata Aps.
Gretacar is an innovative environmental monitoring system designed to be installed on any means of transportwhich marks a decisive step towards environmental sustainability, thanks to its unique ability to monitor key environmental parameters and GPS coordinates in real time in an itinerant manner.
Gretacar presents itself as a versatile and effective solution, which adds environmental monitoring to possibility of directly involving citizens through the GREZE application, downloadable for free from the Android and iOS stores, which allows you to become real environmental ambassadors by making timely reports.
Massimo Dimo, administrator of Ecosud, enthusiastically expressed the success of Gretacar, declaring:

Ente Pro Loco Basilicata and Ecosud undertake to appoint Environmental Ambassadors among the volunteers of the participating Pro Locos and to raise awareness among municipal administrations to evaluate the adoption of a innovative collaborative technology for the environmental sustainability of the territory.
During the signing of the memorandum of understanding, the various functions of the Gretacar and the Greze App were illustrated.
