Viterbo – June 15th in the Sala Regia

Viterbo – We receive and publish – On 15 and 16 June the friends of the Anmi Group from Avellino will be our guests with their families for the joint signing of a twinning agreement between our two groups.
The Avellino delegation, made up of around 30 people, will arrive on the morning of Saturday 15th and will leave on the afternoon of Sunday 16th.
The program includes the joint signature ceremony of the twinning on Saturday afternoon at the Sala Regia of the municipality of Viterbo, while on Sunday morning there will be the celebration of mass at the church of Santa Maria della Verità and subsequent parade to the War Memorial del Mare in Piazza Vittorio Veneto for the laying of a wreath in memory of our sailors.
With the ceremony on Sunday we celebrate Navy Day, postponed by a few days (from 10 June to 16) to be able to celebrate it together with the Avellino group.

Mayor’s speech. The mayor delivers the parchments with the motivation for the twinning.
Signature and exchange by the presidents. Brief speeches by them.
Exchange of the Groups’ “CRESTs” and gift of a reproduction of “Zaffera” to the Avellino group.
Thanks from the groups to the mayor for her collaboration and gift of the groups’ “CRESTs” to her.
Ceremony ends at 4pm.
At the end of the ceremony, walk through the historic center and transfer of the groups to Bagnaia for refreshments in the parish hall of the Church of S. Giovanni.
