Catanzaro, the parking area near the prison in Siano has been cleaned of waste

Interventions aimed at cleaning up abandoned waste from the access and exit roads from the city are underway, following the agreement signed between the Municipality and the Province of Catanzaro. The environmental councilor, Giorgio Arcuriinforms that the works began this morning in the parking area located near the prison, in the Siano district, where various quantities of waste of various types had accumulated.

“A reclamation operation that will continue along the entire provincial road that leads to the Civil Motorization crossroads, with the aim of completing the activities by the month of June. Thanks to the positive collaboration with the intermediate body, the administration intended to draw up an immediate timetable for cleaning the affected areas which, unfortunately, frequently turn into small open-air landfills. I once again take this opportunity to reiterate the appeal to all citizens to dispose of waste lawfully and in compliance with the rules of correct separate waste collection. The daily gestures of each of us are fundamental to preserving the environment and keeping the city clean.”
