A weekend for all tastes featuring concerts, parties in the square and food and wine tastings: there will in fact be 9 events in the Fiumicino area.
Friday 14 June, at 9pm, the garden of the Gino Pallotta Library, in via della Pineta, in Fregene, will be the setting for “Not only Gospel – Music for an almost summer night”. On the same evening, from 7pm, in the almond grove, with the “Aperitif at sunset” and jazz music in the rows, the summer festival “Maccarese d’Estate” opens, proposed by Maccarese spa. Friday 14th The summer sports village debuts on the Lungomare della Salute, on the initiative of the municipal administration. The location is the free beach between Base and Marina del Rey. Saturday 15th the Italy-Albania European Championship match will be broadcast on the big screen.
The 15th and 16th “La via del Gusto – wine, food, art and music in the street” arrives in Fiumicino, an event in the “food district” of Fiumicino in via della Torre Clementina: with free entry, a traveling format that will see the combination of 54 gastronomic activities and wineries in a tasting itinerary enriched by artists, painters and musicians. Saturday and Sundaywith three concerts, “Fai beautiful sounds” is starting, the summer music festival which, until July 20th, will be hosted in the outdoor garden of the Saxophone Museum in Fiumicino.
Always on the 15th and 16th, from 2pm, the Pesce Luna association offers the “Sausage Festival” at the GFBozzetto public park with refreshment point, games for children, entertainment, music and dance. On Saturday you can watch the Italy-Albania match for the European Football Championships.
And then, at Isola Sacra, from 14th to 16ththe patronal feast of the parish of Santa Paola Frassinetti, the Feast of Sant’Antonio Abate in Maccarese while the fifth edition of the “Parco in Festa” will be staged at Parco del Perugino in Parco Leonardo, created by the Neighborhood Committee. The 15th and 16thfinally, Parco da Vinci will host the third “Summer Edition” of the Record Fair for the weekend of music collecting, among thousands of vinyls to choose from, with Sunday afternoon, from 6pm, dedicated to Rino Gaetano, on the 50th anniversary of his first album “Ingresso libero” in the presence of his sister Anna and nephew Alessandro, in concert with the Rino Gaetano Band.
