Three municipalities already assigned to Vito Leccese’s coalition and two in the run-off elections: this is the outcome of the 5 consultations of the ‘neighbourhood’ assemblies of the city of Bari, held in parallel with the renewal of the municipal council. Everything has already been decided in the first round, with the threshold of 50% of overall votes being exceeded, for Municipalities 1, 2 and 4, where Annamaria Ferretti, Alessandra Lopez and Maria Chiara Addabbo were elected respectively. Additional round with run-off, in two weeks, for Municipalities 3 and 5. Below is the complete picture of the results.

TOWN HALL 1 (Libertà, Murat, Bari Vecchia, Japigia, Madonnella, San Giorgio, Torre a Mare, Sant’Anna): Annamaria Ferretti triumphed, supported by the Democratic Party and 6 other civic lists from Vito Leccese’s side as mayoral candidate, who narrowly reached the election threshold, obtaining 50.54% of the votes (25,118 votes). Second, however, was Nicolò Cassano (centre-right and civics linked to Fabio Romito’s side as mayoral candidate), supported by 28.74% of the votes (14,291 votes): In third place was Nicola Biancofiore (M5S and three civics in the Michele Laforgia area candidate for mayor), who obtained 20.08% of the votes, or 9,986 preferences. Lastly, Benito Visciglia (two civics linked to Nicola Sciacovelli as mayoral candidate) with 0.64% (318 votes).

TOWN HALL 2 (San Pasquale, Carrassi, Picone, Poggiofranco, Mungivacca): victory in the first round for Alessandra Lopez (Pd, Europa Verde and 6 other civics linked to the mayoral candidate Vito Leccese) who obtained 24,755 votes, equal to 53.14% of the votes. In second place came Virna Ambruosi (Fdi, Fi, Udc-. First Italy and two other civic bodies linked to the mayoral candidate Fabio Romito) with 25.84% of the votes, corresponding to 12,036 votes. Third, however, was Giacinto Lisco (M5S, Bari Città D’Europa and two other civic bodies linked to the mayoral candidate Michele Laforgia), who obtained 20.47% of the preferences, equal to 9,538 votes. Finally, Giovanna Sorgente (two civic lists in support of Nicola Sciacovelli as mayoral candidate) came in fourth with 0.55%, equal to 256 votes.

TOWN HALL 3 (San Paolo, San Girolamo, Stanic, Worker’s Village, Fesca, Marconi): the contest will be decided in a runoff in 2 weeks. The participants will be Luisa Verdoscia (Pd and 5 civic leaders with reference to Vito Leccese, candidate for mayor) and Filippo Colonna (centre-right linked to candidate for mayor Fabio Romito). The first obtained 47.47% of the votes (9,550 preferences), the second 33.10% (equal to 6,660 votes). Third, however, was Chiara Riccardi (M5S, Bari Città d’Europa and two other civic bodies linked to the mayoral candidate Michele Laforgia) with 19.43% of the votes, equal to 3,909 preferences.

TOWN HALL 4 (Carbonara, Ceglie, Loseto, Santa Rita): the winner is Maria Chiara Addabbo (Pd, Europa Verde and 5 other civic associations linked to Vito Leccese as mayoral candidate) with 55.65% of the votes (9,615 votes). Second place for Matteo Colapietro (centre-right linked to Fabio Romito as mayoral candidate) with 30.20% of the votes (5,218 preferences). Third, finally, Giusi Giannelli (M5S, Bari Città D’Europa and Bari Bene Comune linked to Michele Laforgia as candidate for mayor) with 14.15% (equal to 2,445 votes).

TOWN HALL 5 (Santo Spirito, Palese, San Pio, Catino): in two weeks the ballot will decide the new president. The confrontation will be between Maria Morisco (Pd, Green Europe and 5 other civic groups linked to Vito Leccese as mayoral candidate) and Krizia Colaianni (centre-right with reference to Fabio Romito as mayoral candidate). They obtained 49.17% of the votes (7,210 preferences) and 35.60% (5,219 votes) respectively. Third, however, Mariarita Blasi (M5S, and 3 other lists linked to the mayoral candidate Michele Laforgia) with 15.23% of the votes (2,233 preferences).
